Welcome to Leftover Plaid;
Leftover Plaid, created originally by Jessika & then co-taken over by her boyfriend & best friend
Steven, is a totally abstract view on clothing, fashion design, & art in general. This all started as a white t-shirt,
black paint, & some kind of a dream.
Our vision is to put out a line of clothing unlike anything else out there. All of our products are hand made &
each have their own individual characteristics. Fuck "Hot Topic".. you have Leftover Plaid!
Jessika is that crazy girl..
Admit it - you're sick & fucking tired of not finding what you want in your local mall, & maybe DIY
just isn't your thing. Maybe you can't sew for beans. Maybe you just don't have the time. Now that, my friends, is where I
come in.
Since you're visiting the Leftover Plaid website, you're more than likely looking for something that's beyond
the overpriced Hot Topic or the store near you that likes to rip off what was originally punk & make it look like a cutesy-fartsy
parade of pink & black.. since that is afterall the new thing.
My name is Jessika & I am the one responsible for this chaos I call a company. This all started as me
just being sick of the unsatisfaction I get from shopping all together. Going to the mall did nothing but piss me off. Online
shopping was harder than it looks.. no one ever has my sizes in anything, & not to mention the fact that I am always broke.
A friend of mine got me a white t-shirt & a bottle of black fabric paint a few weeks ago &, as I was
peeling off the remains of the Distillers stencil that I cut out, I realized this is what I was meant to be doing. I'm not
saying that it was one of those "God told me to do this" type of thing.. it's just what I want to do.
Now this is where you come in. You're sick of the pains in the ass from shopping, right? (Go on, nod your
head. You know you want to.) You want something more original than the guy standing next to you, am I right again? (Yeah,
you're catching on. Keep nodding.) Thanks to the ideas of kids like you & the talent (I guess you can call what I do "talent"..)
of kids like me, I've created what I hope will eventually run Hot Topic out of business.
